| Membership in the North Pole Lions Club | |
| Candidate: | Membership is by invitation only. Candidates are invited to either attend 3 meetings or participate in 3 project days, so we can get to know you and you get to know us. After which, based on feedback from you and our fellow members, our board of directors votes to invite you to become a member. After which, your sponsor will give you a membership application. |
| Sponsor: | Each candidate member has a Lion in good standing as sponsor to guide them through the membership application and orientation processes. |
| Initiation Fee: | $30, paid by the club. |
| Orientation: | A new member undergoes a formal induction ceremony with their sponsor. Sponsors, thereafter, are obligated to guide the new member through Lionism. |
| Membership Dues: | $75 per year, due October 1st of each year. Can be paid in installments. |
| Lions Vest: | Lions wear a club vest to meetings and public gatherings to demonstrate our pride as a Lion, while conveying our involvement in the community. The vests are available through the club's Lion Tamer. |
